A snack is provided in the cafeteria from 2:35pm to 3:00pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday sessions from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Brain Base:
a study hall program available during After-the-Bell, designed to provide a comfortable environment for studying, as well as bilingual academic assistance to students.
Guitar for Beginners:
Develop musical skills and a new hobby as you learn to play the guitar. Participants will learn the fret board, strumming patterns, notes, chords, and some basic songs along the way. Guitars are provided.
Boys Soccer:
After-The-Bell provides a fun and instructional format for the development of soccer skills for both beginner and experienced players. Students enjoy fun physical activity while developing teambuilding and good sportsmanship skills.
Mouse Pad:
This offers unstructured computer time which students can use to complete homework assignments, work on graphics projects, or simply browse the web in an adult-monitored setting.
Exploring Art at the Brandywine:
Explore the Brandywine River Museum and discover portraits of people, paintings of the outdoors, and illustrations made for adventure stories. Each program will include a gallery tour followed by a hands-on art project done with a variety of materials. Transportation provided.
Animal Handling:
Join fellow After-The-Bell students for a fun field trip to Springbrook Farm. Students learn how to groom, lead, and care for animals such as rabbits, donkeys, cows, goats, sheep, and horses. Transportation generously provided by The Episcopal Church of the Advent, Kennett Square
