Kennett After-School Association Staff
Although the size and scope of the program has grown considerably, After-The-Bell is coordinated by a paid staff of only one full-time and three part-time employees.

Kathy Hrenko joined the Kennett After-School Association in 2009 as the organization’s Executive Director.
Kathy works closely with the Kennett Consolidated School District and local community leaders to identify and
address the academic, social, recreational and cultural needs of Kennett Middle School students via the
After-The-Bell program. Before becoming Executive Director, Kathy served as a volunteer faciliator with After-The-
Bell for four years.
Kathy earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania State University, and her Master’s Degree in
Creative Arts in Therapy from Hahnemann University. She is a board certified art therapist and has worked
serving the needs of her community in psychiatric hospitals, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, youth detention,

We welcome back Mrs. Suzanne Ullrich this year as the Kennett After-School Association Program Director. Suzanne is responsible for the development and administration of the After-The-Bell program. Her operational duties include management of the staff, students, parents, volunteers and program activities. Suzanne has been a continued supporter of the After-the-Bell program as a volunteer for Afterthebell since she resigned her former position as Executive Director several years ago.
